The Community Centre........... "0 - 18 in a day" As part of the Community Centres first anniversary the Community Forum and partners are preparing to hold our first young persons only open day. Details about the day will be coming shortly.
Children's parties proving a big success at the centre The Community Centre is proving a big success at hosting children's parties. We are already taking bookings for next year. To book your place or for further details please contact Lawrence at the Community Centre.
Second Short Mat bowls now in use Following the Community Centre Manager Lawrence Adams announcement of the success of a grant application to the Foundation for Sport and the Arts for a range of new short mat bowls equipment, we have now taken delivery of our second bowls mat.
The success of this grant application came shortly after our successful application to Dorset Popps for £2000 towards the setting up of the new Waterside Creative Cards Club, which now meets every Thursday at the Community Centre between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm.
Volunteers needed at the Community Centre. The Community Forum Forum are seeking new Volunteers to help support the centre manager with the day to day running of the Community centre and the Charity shop. Contact Lawrence on (01305) 839579
The Community Centre Manager Lawrence Adams has availability at the centre for any individual or organisation who would like to operate a new group, club or activity. Contact Lawrence with details.
The Next Safer Neighbourhoods PACT public meeting will be at the Community Centre on October 24th starting at 7.00pm
